That is where 32pt with a painted edge earns its cost. It is thick enough to register as deliberate the moment it is picked up, and the colour on the cut edge is visible across a table. If the budget will not stretch, 18pt uncoated with a heavy ink coverage does a lot of the same work for much less. We will tell you which to spend on rather than quoting the most expensive option and waiting.
Worth knowing if you are ordering for a studio: dark stocks show fingerprints, and soft-touch lamination shows them most of all. It is still the right finish for most work, but if the card is going into a portfolio or being handled repeatedly at a show, a matte laminate without the soft-touch coating stays cleaner and costs less. We will say so rather than upselling the finish.
