Toronto apparel orders are smaller, more frequent and far more design-led than the suburbs, and the deciding factor is almost always the garment rather than the print. A studio in the Junction ordering thirty shirts is not going to accept a boxy 5.3oz tee because it is cheap — they want a retail-weight Bella+Canvas or Next Level blank that people will actually wear, and they are right to.
So we start from the blank. Bella+Canvas and Next Level for anything that needs to look like a product rather than a giveaway. Gildan where the shirt is genuinely disposable — a one-day event, a volunteer crew. ATC and Port Authority for polos and outerwear. The print method follows from there: DTF for small runs and full-colour artwork with no minimum, screen printing from 24 pieces where the design is one or two colours and the run justifies the screens.
Cafés and bars along Ossington and Dundas West order the same way — a small run of staff tees, reprinted when the design changes, plus tote bags and aprons that double as merchandise. Because there is no minimum on DTF, testing a design on ten pieces before committing to a hundred is a real option rather than a compromise, and it is what we suggest for anything being sold rather than given away.
Print placement is worth more thought than most people give it. A left chest sits differently on a fitted retail blank than on a boxy unisex tee, and a full front that looks right on a medium can crowd the neckline on a small. We set placement per size rather than using one position across the run, which is a small production step that separates merchandise from event shirts.

Artwork

Proof approval
Nothing goes to production until you approve a proof in writing. On print that is a PDF at size; on apparel it is a mockup on the actual garment colour. Turnaround starts from this step, not from the deposit.

Production and delivery
We produce it here and deliver across the GTA, or hold it for pickup in Mississauga if that is faster. Your artwork stays on file, so the reorder skips straight to production.

What blank do you recommend for merch we are selling?

Can we test a design before ordering a full run?
Yes, and we recommend it for anything you are selling. DTF has no minimum, so ten pieces to test fit, placement and how the print sits on the fabric costs ten pieces. Screen printing cannot do that economically.
Do you deliver apparel to Toronto?
Yes, across the city, on a scheduled run rather than on demand. Traffic into the core is the constraint. If a date is tight, collecting from Mississauga is faster and we will say so.
